Magento Imagine is Just Around the Corner

We're all pretty excited here at MageTraining as the 2016 Magento Imagine Commerce annual conference is just around the corner. I like to think of it as a 3-day long party with breakout sessions.

So what is there to be excited about? Well, what is there not to be excited about. Let me list off the highlights here:

• On Sunday 10th April it all kicks off in earnest with the 5th MageRun - The Big Dam Run - running from the Hover Dam to Lake Mead and back again!
• In the afternoon, it's the amazing Pre-Imagine community party. If you have never been, I think this is one of the biggest highlights of the conference. If there are tickets still available, get booked on it.
• On Monday registration opens and we are proud to say that MageTraining will be sponsoring this. Make sure that once you have your conference badge, come over and say hi. We have a table in the registration area and we promise to have some swag waiting for you :)
• On Tuesday Brent Peterson (who has been officially named a Magento Master this year) and I will be hosting a breakout session at 2.15pm in Mouton 2. "That Was Easy: Setting Up a Magento 2 Store". We are going to perform a live (yes LIVE) product demonstration where we take a standard Magento 2 store installation and turn it into a functioning store that can take orders - all this in less that 45 minutes! We promise it will open your eyes to some of Magento 2's capabilities. We will also be giving out some more swag along the way, so a bonus to come along.
• After a full conference day packed with learning the best from the Magento world, Tuesday night will be the legendary Magento Party. I can't wait to see what they have lined up this year.
• A bleary-eyed final conference day of Wednesday cramming in more from the awesome Magento team and community.
• To finish off on Thursday, the entire MageTraining team will be booking themselves in for a full blood transfusion before heading back to the office.
