Magento Video - Setting up Captcha Forms on your Magento Store

If you are fed up of spam accounts being set up on your Magento web store then you may want to take a look at this video. It shows how simple it s to set up a captcha form in version 1.7 and later of Magento community. What is captcha? It is an additional field on your website forms and sign up pages that asks a question that only a human could answer - in this case it is a series of distorted letters which must be typed in to complete the form.

This short video will explain more about captcha and how you can implement it. Say goodbye to those dodgy sign ups that cluttered your customer accounts.

Thanks Derek. Very useful. People with sad lives who spam register on my site drive me mad so I have implemented this on the 1.7 version. How did you do the 3+one bit above this box? Mark

  Thanks Mark. This is a wordpress blog so the set up is very different to Magento. If you are interested it is a free wordpress plugin called Captcha.
